You’ll need to show a photo ID. You can bring
If you don’t have an ID, you’re allowed to go to the polls and request what’s called a “provisional ballot,” which means you promise to show ID at a later date (or else your vote won’t count).
You need to have lived in Alaska for 30 days before you can vote.
In-person early voting begins 15 days before the election. Registered voters can go an early voting location.
You’ll need to apply for an absentee ballot from your local absentee offical.
You’ll need to apply for your absentee ballot at least 10 days before the election. Your mailed ballot needs to be postmarked by election day.
Military/overseas voters can also get a ballot through the Federal Voting Assistance Program.
